Littleton, Colorado –Terracare Associates has been named one of the largest landscape companies in North America by Lawn & Landscape magazine for the seventh time.

Terracare Associates ranked 22^nd on the 2017 Lawn & Landscape Top 100 list, making Terracare the largest landscape provider headquartered in Colorado.

The Lawn & Landscape prestigious list of Top 100 is based on 2016 revenue from landscape profit centers, and is reported by each company listed. The companies on this list earned a combined revenue of $9,161,843,124 in 2016, which is an increase of $594,598,970 or 6.9 percent, over 2015. Companies on the list also reported total employment of 95,125. Based on the data, the average growth expected in 2017 is 9.9 percent.

Ceronix, Inc.; Auburn California

We’ve become the partner service provider that can handle Ceronix’s complex landscaping for their corporate headquarters. Our team helps manage the 21-acre property that doubles as a licensed wildlife sanctuary. Our work has included managing and maintaining ongoing maintenance landscaping, enhancement landscape projects, and irrigation systems.

The City of Carlsbad; Carlsbad, California

We’ve built a strong private public partnership with the city to meet the city’s high expectations for landscape maintenance and enhancements for their park system. We manage and maintain almost 940,000 square feet of turf, including 5 synthetic and 10 natural athletic fields, dog parks, basketball courts, recreational picnic areas, play structures, skates parks, a pool complex and a wide array of landscaping.

The City of Grapevine; Grapevine, Texas

This historical tourist destination is home to more than 50,000 residents and welcomes more than 20 million visitors annually. With so many people living and visiting, the City of Grapevine turned to us to help maintain their beautiful landscapes and functioning infrastructure throughout the 24/7/365, especially during harsh weather like floods and droughts.

CVS Health Tower; Irving, Texas

The client’s goal was to make the challenging landscape around the existing building more sustainable, water conscious and employee-friendly to create a campus park-like setting. They looked to us to bring the expertise, knowledge, experience and manpower to help plan, budget and execute this project seamlessly and to continue the maintenance associated with the building and the landscaping.

Terracare Associates has been named one of the largest landscape companies in North America by Lawn & Landscape magazine. Terracare Associates ranked 29th on the 2016 Lawn & Landscape Top 100 list, which was published in May and sponsored by Toro.

Terracare Associates, LLC (“TCA”), a leading outdoor maintenance company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Tierra Verde Resources and Blue Skies Landscape Maintenance, affiliated commercial landscape companies based in San Diego, CA. The transaction represents the fourth add-on acquisition, and second this year. The acquisition is a strategic extension of TCA’s current operations in Southern California.

Terracare receives National Landscape Awards of Excellence

Planet is the largest professional association in the U.S. for landscape design, construction, and maintenance companies.

Wind Crest Retirement Community

This property provides gardens for congregating, open space, walk ways and horticultural therapy gardens for members of the community. Creating a safe environment for the residents is up most important which include snow removal and debris/trash removal. The landscape busts with native grass and cottonwoods while incorporating colors, drought tolerant turf and new installations. Plant Healthcare, aesthetics, and irrigation are of critical importance to the property manager and to the residents.

Transportation Management Association – South I-25 Urban Corridor

One of the most unique projects in a landscape management portfolio of work; South I-25 urban corridor Transportation Management Association (TMA) is the management agency supporting transportation solutions for one of the busiest highway corridors in the state of Colorado.

The public-private partnership agency (TMA) was challenged to create an open space environment at highly congested interchanges. The projected outcome for each interchanges’ landscape is to provide a common look and feel throughout the corridor and honoring specific interest of the 3 counties and 4 cities along the I-25 exchanges.

This landscape contractor projects include: maintaining and integrating new install with native growth, irrigation, highway debris and pollution clean-up resulting in a distinctive and welcoming Colorado appearance. A bonus to the project is to build an ecosystem of plantings, bird and insect life mirroring a park-like setting.

Arapahoe Lakes

Arapahoe Lakes is a community of 208 single family homes and 13 townhomes. The property has a three-acre lake, unusual for Colorado neighborhoods, swimming pool and four tennis courts.

The Home Owners Association and property managers are fiscally responsible while committing to high-quality landscape maintenance. As an established neighborhood in the region, the homeowners goal is to achieve an environmentally friendly neighborhood. Through a long-term partnership with the client, Terracare Associates assisted in developing a plan of phased improvements focused on environmentally friendly landscape care. This plan reduced water usage by 34% and more than $11,000 in 2013.
